At Pioneer Academy, we understand homeschooling because we’ve lived it. As parents of six children, we homeschooled our family from kindergarten through high school, tailoring learning to each child’s needs. Now, our children are thriving in college, graduate programs, professional careers, and in their own growing families. We wanted to help other families also achieve great success!

Pioneer Academy Online was born not only out of our enthusiasm for home-based education, but also because of our decades of experience in K-12 and higher education, including teaching experience from kindergarten through college, curriculum development, textbook authorship, and online learning innovation. Our lead instructor, James, has taught at all levels from elite private schools to top-ranked universities and has developed high-quality curricula used by thousands of students.

Pioneer Academy is a private, non-sectarian online high school built for flexibility and affordability — right here in Utah — so that homeschooling families can maximize their Utah Fits All (UFA) scholarships while ensuring their teens receive a rigorous, well-structured education.
